Job Description:
City Properties Real Estate is seeking for an experienced Oracle DBA / Developer to join the IT team and help to build and maintain the Oracle application. This is a full-time position based in our main office in Sharjah. Responsibilities include: Maintaining database backup, recovery, and availability strategies and mechanisms. Will need to execute database,
recovery, restoration and/or restart as required. Monitoring and optimizing the Oracle instance using database administration tools, SQL scripts, and database utilities. Designing and implementing data extraction, data load, and database synchronization routines and functions including modifications to existing procedures. Assists in specification and implementation of tables, views, indexes, integrity, security, and business rules using DDL, DCL, DML, and PL/SQL functions, procedures, and packages. Develops and modifies stored procedures, triggers, and batch job scripts. Performs and manages database schema changes. Performs and manages existing data and corrects mistakes or discrepancies on a daily basis as driven by operations team.

Requirements:
  • BCS/MCS or B.S. Computer Science or related field.
  • Candidate should have at least 2-3 years of experience especially in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms and database object modeling, Oracle 9i or 10g.
  • Should have an understanding of Oracle RDBMS.
  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)/Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) preferable.
  • English Speaking.
